Friday, November 2, is the second Indian Day of the school year. This is a day for tutorials, state assessment remediation, and/or a requirement for students to complete missing classwork.
The district has designated the last Friday of four six-week grading periods this year as Indian Day. Students who do not require remediation or tutorials, or who have completed all classwork will not be required to attend school that day. The schools will provide written notice to parents/guardians if their child will be required to attend, hours of attendance, and subject area.
Indian Day will also be held Feb. 15 and April 5.
Extra time is often needed to work with students who may be falling behind in work or require remediation. Indian Day will allow teachers to work with small groups of students to help improve their academic skills. If a child is assigned to attend, then attendance is mandatory. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher or the principal.

Congratulations to our HS Varsity Volleyball Team for placing 3rd in our 1A District standing!
