Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will take benchmark tests Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 18 & 19. Grade 4 and 5 will also test on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Friday, February 14 is an Indian Day for our students. Only students who receive a notice are required to attend school that morning for tutorials. There will be no classes on Monday, February 17 so teacher can attend staff development.

Congratulations to Neveah Sanchez and Kylee McNew for winning top honors in the Lone Star Poetry Gathering Level 3 Poetry contest. Neveah placed second with “My Grandpa’s Sombrero and Kylee places third with “Canyon Trail.” They are invited to read their poems at the event at 11 a.m. , Saturday, February 22 at Sul Ross State University.

Tonight's district games scheduled in Sierra Blanca have been postponed due to possible adverse weather. This is the new game information. On Friday, February 7, JV Boys will play at 5:00pm, Varsity girls will play at 6:00pm, and Varsity boys will play at 7:30pm in Sierra Blanca. Dell City forfeited our home game that was scheduled for this Friday, Feb. 7. Go Indians!
