Missoula Children’s Theatre is here this week preparing its fun version of Aladdin. Area children practice for a week and then curtains open on Saturday. There will be two shows - 2 pm and 7 pm. Free admission. This annual event is hosted by Fort Davis Children’s Theatre
FDISD Board of Trustees attending TASB Summer Leadership Institute training in San Antonio. House Bill 3, and other legislation, has created significant changes to many areas of public education. Thank You to the Board for their dedication!
Our school year ended with some amazing volunteers reading to all of our students. Volunteers from Fort Davis, Alpine, and Marfa made the year special. Read Fort Davis will begin again in October. We can't wait to see what a new year of Read Fort Davis brings!

Dirks-Anderson students are creating Brag Boards this year to show some of the many things they learned, accomplished, and created this year. Fourth graders visited the 1st grade room today to help the younger students prepare their boards. We are so proud of our students. The boards will be displayed during our end of year program Thursday

Free hot dog lunch today at Dirks-Anderson for students and staff. Lunch will begin at 12 p.m. followed by games in the gym. The concession sales will begin at 2 p.m. - push pops, Gatorade, pickles, ring pops for sale for $1 each. School will dismiss at 2:35 p.m.
School begins at 8:55 a.m. and will dismiss at 2:35 p.m. today. Dirks-Anderson water activities have been cancelled due to today's weather. Activities will be held in the gym beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Dirks-Anderson annual end-of-the-year Music Program tonight at 6:30. We celebrate the Muppets! Students need to be at the auditorium at 6:15 p.m.

Monday - Music practice 1-2 p.m. followed by Spanish club performance at 2:15 p.m. at the high school auditorium.
Tuesday - Free hot dog lunch, water games, concession stand in front of the school 12-2:30 p.m.
Wednesday - PALs to Sproul Ranch. Pizza lunch for year-long perfect attendance and A-honor roll.
Thursday - End of the Year Awards Program 10:30 a.m. in they elementary gym. School dismissed after the program.
Special day in Kindergarten today - Donuts with Dads and the Supermen in their lives. Thanks everyone!
