Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 will take benchmark tests Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 18 & 19. Grade 4 and 5 will also test on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Friday, February 14 is an Indian Day for our students. Only students who receive a notice are required to attend school that morning for tutorials. There will be no classes on Monday, February 17 so teacher can attend staff development.

Congratulations to Neveah Sanchez and Kylee McNew for winning top honors in the Lone Star Poetry Gathering Level 3 Poetry contest. Neveah placed second with “My Grandpa’s Sombrero and Kylee places third with “Canyon Trail.” They are invited to read their poems at the event at 11 a.m. , Saturday, February 22 at Sul Ross State University.

Due to forecast of worsening conditions FDISD is cancelling classes today.

Fort Davis ISD will have a delayed start to school. Roads are reported with some snow and ice, so please be careful. School will start at 9:30 today.

Fort Davis ISD is monitoring the National Weather Service forecast and conditions for tonight and tomorrow. We plan to maintain regular class schedules for tomorrow, however, we will post any announcements regarding delayed start, or cancellations, here.

Tonight's district games scheduled in Sierra Blanca have been postponed due to possible adverse weather.

On Friday, February 7, JV Boys will play at 5:00pm, Varsity girls will play at 6:00pm, and Varsity boys will play at 7:30pm in Sierra Blanca.
Dell City forfeited our home game that was scheduled for this Friday, Feb. 7.
