We miss our students!
FDISD will have a school staff parade around town Thursday, March 26 beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out of their homes and wave to us. Or, join along the parade route remembering to keep a safe social distance from one another.
We will roll out at 6 p.m. from the junior high parking lot and begin at the Fort Davis Estates, drive through the Estates and then back to the highway.

We are ready to distribute new material, and receive homework beginning at 9 a.m. with PreK at the elementary and 6th grade at the high school main entrance. Thanks for all your support. Let us know if you need assistance
The Food Pantry will be handing out breakfasts and lunches to all children picking up their assignments Monday at both campuses. This is a service provided by its Kids Pantry which operates out of the Jeff Davis County Library. Also available will be information about how adults can apply for Food Pantry assistance and how kids can get get meals and snacks through the Kids Pantry even while the JDC Library is closed due to Coronavirus.
First Baptist Church members are offering help with errands such as going to the grocery store, post office, pharmacy, or picking up take-out meals. Please call 432-426-3989, or email fbcfortdavis@sbcglobal.net, with your request.
Remote instruction will continue through Friday, April 3. FDISD parents/guardians can drop off completed assignments and pick up new instructional material at the campuses Monday, March 23.
To avoid large crowds, we have set the following schedule for pick up: Elementary material will be issued from the office. PreK- 9:00 a.m. Kindergarten - 9:30 a.m. 1st Grade - 10 a.m. 2nd Grade - 10:30 a.m. 3rd Grade - 11:00 a.m. 4th Grade - 11:30 a.m. 5th Grade - 12 noon. All online instruction and attendance will continue.
Grades 6-12 - Parents/students can drop off completed paper assignments at the high school office using the following schedule: 6th Grade - 9 a.m., 7th Grade - 9:30 a.m., 8th Grade - 10 a.m., 9th Grade - 10:30 a.m., 10th Grade - 11 a.m., 11th Grade - 11:30 a.m., and 12th Grade - 12 noon.
The only JH/HS students that need to pick up work are junior high students taking health class. All classes will continue online instruction and attendance.

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! Friday is Pizza Lunch at Dirks-Anderson. Orders due today - $7 for 2 slices of pizza, chips, fruit snack, water. Concession treats at 3:30 p.m. - ring pops, push pops, Gatorade & pickles $1 each. Proceeds pay for field trips, activities, and supplies.
