The JH and HS Spanish classes hosted a Day of the Dead presentation at the Jeff Davis County Library on Wednesday, October 30th. They had a variety of projects on display with light refreshments.

The Anatomy & Physiology students are working to create their own models of lungs.
Congratulations Fort Davis High School Volleyball Team! They are the 2019 District 2-1A champs! Way to go Green!
The team will play a practice game Saturday in Monahans at 2 pm against Sonora High School.

Fort Davis Junior High and High School Spanish classes will have a Day of the Dead show and presentation this Wednesday, October 30th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at the Jeff Davis County Public Library. The students will do a brief presentation and refreshments will be served.

The Fort Davis JH/HS Spanish Club will have a bake sale this Saturday, November 2nd at Porter's Thriftway in Fort Davis from 8:00am to 12:00 noon.
We will have menudo, burritos, sweets, free coffee and more.
Come out to get some good food while supporting the Spanish Club!

Elementary students are invited to wear a costume to school Thursday, Oct. 31. Students will report to their classrooms at 7:45 a.m. to line up for the parade. Families, friends, and community will meet in the gym. A 8 a.m. we will start the parade through the gym!
After the parade, students will return to the classroom,
and change into school clothes.
All are welcome. Please join us for this fun event!

It's Goat and Lamb Validation Time!
All FFA and 4H students showing goats and lambs in this year's stock shows need to validate your animals this Sunday, October 27th at the Alpine Show Barn. Goat validation is 1:00pm-2:30pm. Lamb validation is 2:30pm-3:30pm.

We are going to the Pumpkin Patch!
All Dirks-Anderson students and staff will travel to
Mandujano Brothers Pumpkin Patch in Cayanosa.
Wednesday, October 23. We will leave at 8 a.m. and return by 3:45 p.m.
We will eat lunch at the Pumpkin Patch.
Students need to bring: a sack lunch, bottle of water and a hat. Students must wear jeans or pants and closed shoes, no sandals. Students may bring spending money for the gift shop.
