Congratulations to JH volleyball for taking 1st place in 8th B division at the Crane tournament this weekend, beating Kermit, Presidio, and Grandfalls-Royalty!


FFA is already working with their animals! Jodi Pearson, Jenny Harrison and Hank Pearson competed in a jackpot stockshow on Saturday, September 7 to kick off our new school year.

It's Open House and Meet the Indians at Fort Davis High School today, September 5 at 6:00pm! We will begin with a brief parent information meeting in the HS auditorium at 6:00pm. Then we will move to the courtyard for the Open House to meet the JH and HS teachers. The Indian Booster Club will be selling $5 hamburger meals! We will end the evening with Meet the Indians on the Bart Coan Field, introducing the high school fall athletes. So come out and support the Green and Gold!

JV, V Volleyball Update.
Volleyball has picked up two unscheduled games for today. JV, V volleyball will play at home following the two Balmorhea v. Van Horn games at 4:00pm and 5:00pm. The Indian games may begin before 6:30pm if time allows.

Big Bend Youth Soccer Association needs Coaches! You don’t have to be a pro. You do have to want to have fun with kids! This is a great opportunity to coach kids and teach them new skills.
Three teams, U6, U11, and U14, need coaches. U11 and U14 also need assistant coaches. The first game is September 21. Practice starts next week!

Dirks-Anderson is bringing back the Spirit Ribbon! Kindergarten students will sell ribbons for $1 each on Fridays that there is a home football game. Tomorrow (8/30) is our first home game and first day to sell ribbons! Show your school spirit and buy a ribbon at school Friday morning! Proceeds benefit the school activity fund.

Dirks-Anderson Elementary will host its annual Meet the Teachers from 5-6 p.m., Thursday, August 22.
Families are welcome to visit the school, meet teachers, and drop off school supplies.
