It's a busy week at Dirks-Anderson! Monday - Music practice 1-2 p.m. followed by Spanish club performance at 2:15 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Tuesday - Free hot dog lunch, water games, concession stand in front of the school 12-2:30 p.m. Wednesday - PALs to Sproul Ranch. Pizza lunch for year-long perfect attendance and A-honor roll. Thursday - End of the Year Awards Program 10:30 a.m. in they elementary gym. School dismissed after the program.

Special day in Kindergarten today - Donuts with Dads and the Supermen in their lives. Thanks everyone!

This week we honored our amazing custodians who do so much to keep our school looking great in addition to lunch duty, student supervision and the after school program! We love Aglae Ramos and Berta Duarte!!

Practicing for the annual music program set for Monday, May 20. Curtains up at 6:30 pm. Students need to arrive at 6:10 pm. This year we are singing Muppet Tunes!!

Fort Davis Junior-Senior High School (grades 6-12) will release students early on Friday, May 17 at 3:00pm, after Field Day is finished.

Fort Davis Junior-Senior High School will host its annual Spring Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 17 at approximately 11:00am in the high school auditorium. Students in the following will be recognized: JH UIL Academics JH Class Awards HS Class Awards All-Year A and AB Honor Roll Perfect Attendance Go Indians!

Club Fort Davis After-School Program's last school week schedule: Monday, May 20-Wednesday, May 22 program ends at 5 p.m. Pickup at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday is the final day of the program this year. See you next year!

The Fort Davis National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society worked together with the students of Dirks Anderson Elementary to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during the month of February. They are proud to report that their Pennies For Patients project raised $1,875.12 this year! Proud to be an Indian!

Tomorrow's field trip to Monahans State Park for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades has been cancelled due to possibility of rain. We will have movie/game day in the gym. Students may bring board games.

Kindergarteners and the Superwomen in their lives - moms, aunts, and grandmothers joined the class for muffins and a morning of fun.

Entomologist Sarah Evans presented a lesson about life cycles to Kayla Weavers 4th grade class today

Congratulations to our JH Tennis Team! Fort Davis took the overall District Championship! The boys' team won 1st place and the girls' team won 2nd place. Additional results: Isiah Gallegos--3rd place Boys' Singles; Edgar Lara and Jace Parker--1st place Boys' Doubles; Kevin Perez and Luis Solis--2nd place Boys' Doubles; Kayden Gray and Yolesmy Renteria--2nd place Girls' Doubles; Ivy Boatright and Alissa Ferguson--4th place Girls' Doubles Way to go Indians!!
