
Veterans Day Program Today
Fort Davis High School will host a Veterans Day Program on November 11th at 2:00pm in the auditorium. The high school and elementary students will pay tribute to our veterans through poetry and song. All local veterans are invited to be our honored guests.
Thank you to all our veterans for your courageous and honorable service to our country!

Send Off for Indian Volleyball Team Today!
We will have a send off for our volleyball team today, 11/7, at 1:15pm as they travel to Crane to play for the area championship against Aspermont.

Fort Davis ISD will have an early release tomorrow, Thursday, November 7th at 2:30pm to give everyone an opportunity to attend the volleyball area playoff game in Crane at 5:30pm.
The school day will end at 2:30pm tomorrow, 11/7.

Want to cheer on the volleyball team at playoffs?
FDHS will have a spirit bus for tomorrow's (11/7) volleyball playoff game against Aspermont at Crane High School. We have 28 seats available and it is first come, first served. Call the HS office at 432-426-4444. Sign up must be before 10:00am on 11/7. In addition, students will need to submit a Parent Permission form.
No alcohol or tobacco allowed.

It's Volleyball Playoff Season!
The Fort Davis High School Volleyball Team, our District 2-1A Champs, will play for the Area Championship on Thursday, November 7th at 5:30pm at the Crane High School gym.
Wear your green and gold and come support the Indians!



Fort Davis High School spent the day at The Globe for the Odessa Shakespeare Festival. Twenty-one students & 4 teachers saw A Midsummer Night’s Dream & Julius Caesar. What a great theatrical opportunity for our students!


Open House Wednesday, Nov. 6 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Dirks-Anderson gym. Plus, the book fair will be open until 7 p.m.

THIS is what school looks like at Fort Davis Junior-Senior High School on Wednesdays during lunch! National Junior Honor Society and National Honor Society are offering peer tutoring and the response has been great! Students may come on their own or teachers may refer them. On Wednesday, October 23rd, we had 26 students and 9 peer tutors in the room working on math, language arts and world cultures.
Now that’s the Indian spirit!

Third graders wrote spooky stories and then created a book with all of their stories. Today, each student read their story to the class. Great way to celebrate Halloween





Dirks-Anderson teacher Felicia Locke is the 2019 Outstanding State Conservation Teacher of the Year presented by Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Texas. We are so proud of her! Congratulations!


The JH and HS Spanish classes hosted a Day of the Dead presentation at the Jeff Davis County Library on Wednesday, October 30th. They had a variety of projects on display with light refreshments.





Today’s Halloween Parade! Thanks to all the families and community members who attended and all the students who dressed up!
