FDHS volleyball will play Miami in Wellman Union on Tuesday at 5pm for the Area Championship.
The Junior High and High School football games scheduled for today and tomorrow have been cancelled due to COVID related issues in Van Horn. Call the High School Principal if you have questions.
The Fort Davis area is experiencing a power outage expected to last until later this afternoon. All parents and guardians need to pick up your children at school and return to home for the remainder of the day. School will resume tomorrow at our normal times.

FDISD has been notified that a parent of an elementary student and a secondary student has tested positive for COVID-19. These students have been sent home for a 14 day quarantine, but have not manifested any symptoms as of 9-22-20. Please continue to monitor your child for symptoms. On Tuesday, September 8th, at 6:00 P.M., an informational meeting about Federal Programs at Fort Davis ISD will be held in the High School Auditorium . Immediately following the Federal Programs meeting, our traditional "Meet the Indians" night will be held at Bart Coan Field.
Lots going on tonight with volleyball at 4 pm, football at 7:30 pm, and a chance to get a coupon for ice cream from the Drug Store when you complete your 2020 Census (at the football game), if you have not already done so. There is no charge for spectators, but we do ask that you wear masks and practice social distancing.
Students who have chosen to receive instruction on-line and have not picked up their school issued devices need to come to the HS Library, sign your form, and pick up your child's device. Hotspots will be issued as needed.
Drop off procedure changes: JH students will be dropped off at the JH building. Cars should enter the parking lot from Buckeye St. and exit onto Highway 17. As JH students arrive they are to report to the band hall for temperature check.
HS drop off will remain in the same location. As HS students arrive they will report to the auditorium for temperature checks.
All students attending FDISD for the 2020-21 school year, either on campus or on-line, need to register. Registration can be done on-line or at the campus office. The on-line forms are located on the district website at: www.fdisd.com
Students planning to attend school on-line need to come and pick up school computers and hotspots, if needed, prior to the first day of class, Monday August 24th. Computer check out forms must be filled out and signed before computers can be issued

Due to unforeseen circumstances, paper copy registration for D-A elementary students will be delayed until Monday, Aug. 10. All parents may access the online registration form now, in lieu of the paper copy registrations. Paper registrations for JH/HS students opened Wed, Aug. 5.

Student registrations for the 2020-2021 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 5 and continue through Friday, August 21. Parents may visit each campus to pick-up, complete, and turn in the registration packets. Visitors to each campus should wear protective face coverings.
