The JH football game scheduled for November 9th has changed. It will now be on Thursday, November 8th at 6:00pm in Fort Davis.

Congratulations to our volleyball team for their Bi-District Championship!
They will compete for the Area Championship in Lubbock on Saturday, November 3rd at 3:00pm.
Go Indians!

Friday, November 2, is the second Indian Day of the school year. This is a day for tutorials, state assessment remediation, and/or a requirement for students to complete missing classwork.
The district has designated the last Friday of four six-week grading periods this year as Indian Day. Students who do not require remediation or tutorials, or who have completed all classwork will not be required to attend school that day. The schools will provide written notice to parents/guardians if their child will be required to attend, hours of attendance, and subject area.
Indian Day will also be held Feb. 15 and April 5.
Extra time is often needed to work with students who may be falling behind in work or require remediation. Indian Day will allow teachers to work with small groups of students to help improve their academic skills. If a child is assigned to attend, then attendance is mandatory. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher or the principal.

Congratulations to our HS Varsity Volleyball Team for placing 3rd in our 1A District standing!
The Bi-District game against the Valentine Lady Pirates will be in Balmorhea on Tuesday, October 30 at 6:00pm.
Go Indians!!

Pumpkin Patch field trip tomorrow! (Monday, 10/22) Send a sack lunch and your child should wear long pants and tennis shoes or boots. Don't forget a jacket!

The weather is great and the Fort Davis State Bank Frito Pie tailgate party is back on! Come and get one 2:00-4:30! We're in front of the bank. Frito Pies for everyone!

Mini cheerleaders should report to the football field from 5-6 PM today for their refresher course. If you picked up your shirt and poms at the Pep Rally last night, you can wear your shirt and bring your poms. For those who have not picked them up, we will hand them out at the refresher course and you can change into your shirt at the stadium.
Warm pants and jackets can also be worn due to the weather.
Mini cheerleaders will be able to sing the National Anthem with Dirks Anderson. After the National Anthem, they should go to the end zone with the JH and Varsity Cheerleaders to prepare for the run through at the beginning of the game.
We look forward to a great Homecoming Game and Festivities! Go Indians!
