Felicia Locke, Dirks-Anderson fifth grade and gifted/talented teacher, is this year’s Texas Conservation Teach of the Year. She was nominated by the Toyah-Limpia Soil and Water Conservation District. Locke is also the Area 2 Texas SWCBC teacher of the year. Locke will be honored at the state convention in San Antonio in October

Students at Fort Davis JSHS and Dirks-Anderson will be taking STAAR tests next week from April 9th-11th.
Some students may have to test through lunch, so sending your student to school with a lunch on their testing days may be beneficial. Please help your student get plenty of rest and a breakfast before they test. Also, please keep distractions or visitations to the school at a minimum during these testing days. We look forward to a successful week of testing, thank you!
