Eramin Ramos was 3rd in girls singles
Marcos Renteria was 2nd in boys singles
Alan Trevizo was 3rd in boys singles
Giselle Ramos and Bryleigh Hamilton were district champions in girls doubles
Matthew Reagan and Ethan Serrano were district champions in boys doubles
Alijah Brito and Johnathon Rivera were 2nd in boys doubles
Gracie Boultinghouse and Jesus Ramos were district champions in mixed doubles.

Fort Davis High School Regional Tennis:

The 4th & 5th grade class went on a field trip to the Big Bend National Park. They enjoyed hiking in the Basin, discovering dinosaur fossils, soaking in the Hot Springs, and relaxing in the Rio Grande river.









Young American Poetry Digest

Martha Sanchez was honored at Sul Ross University on May 1st as an outstanding teacher in our area. She and six other teachers helped make a video called "Teacher". Each of the seven had a letter in the word. Martha's letter was A for advocate. In her cameo, she was joined by 5 of the 8th graders as she explained a teacher's role as a student advocate.

Fort Davis High School did well at the Region 2 UIL Meet at Angelo State University on Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, 2024. We were 10th overall out of 51 schools. Lillian-6th in Ready Writing; Elsa-4th in Literary Criticism; John -4th in Persuasive and 5th in Prose; Hunter-quarter finalist in LD; Truett-6th in Informative; Evelyn-5th in News Writing; Bowen-2nd in Current Issues, and Bowen, Adrian, Truett, and Hunter are the 2nd place Current Issues Team. Bowen advanced to the State Meet!
