The Big Bend Regional History Fair was held at Sul Ross State University in Alpine on Wednesday, February 26th. Nubia Nunez and Elsa Damm won first place and the Black History Award with their Senior Group Exhibit on Loving v Virginia. In the junior division, Abbey Corbin, Miranda Hernandez, Adelyn Lopez, and Eramin Ramos won first place for their Junior Group Performance on the Statue of Liberty. Both groups advance to state competition at Texas History Day held at the University of Texas at Austin, April 5. Congratulations!!
