FDISD is announcing a change for the 2021-2022 school year. Cyndi Wimberly, who had come out of retirement to help the district as principal at the elementary (on very short notice), will be handing the principal's reins over to Shera Welch. Ms. Welch has been our kindergarden teacher for many, many years. She recently completed her Master's degree at Texas A$M University, and obtained her principal certification. Ms. Wimberly has done and amazing job for us this year, and we would like to express our profound thanks to her for that. She and Ms. Welch will be using the rest of this school year and few weeks in the summer to get things organized for next year.
