FDISD is a Social Security participant, pays up to $550 towards an employee's health insurance, pays for employee and family emergency medical evacuation/air transport insurance, offers stipends for extra-duties, $10,000 life insurance policy at no cost, and several other options available for selection.
FDISD is nestled in the Davis Mountains of West Texas, a mile high in elevation, avoiding extremes in seasonal temperatures and weather. The air is clean, crime is almost non-existant, folks are friendly, scenic views are incredible, and there are several opportunities for adventure and sightseeing. FDISD has no mask, or vaccine, mandates. Instruction is in-school, and class sizes are small.
