Senior Spotlights

James Hutchins

Nickname: Golden Boy, J, Teddy Bear, Blondie (Robert gave me this nickname)

Friends I’ll remember the most: Robert, Amber, Lindsey, Alayna, Jodi, Shadix, Jack, Damien, Karla, Cindy, Ruben

The hardest thing to leave behind after high school: All my friends and family that have helped me get through these years in my life. Especially my mom and dad who have been there since day one for me.

I am most grateful for: All the people that have been in my life and all those still in my life.

Most influential teacher: Coach Lara, Mama Sanchez, Mrs. Pittman

Favorite Food: Home cooking is always good!

Favorite high school memory: Junior year, San Angelo, I was getting tired of sitting in the hotel meeting room so I started to pretend to fall asleep. Robert sees that I am doing that so he says, “Hey Blondie”

Favorite song/band: Devil Trigger by Casey Edwards, Black Clover by Op 3, Peace Sign by Same Luff-English version

Favorite saying/quote: “Just do your best and don’t give up, you only have one more year.” My mom says this to me when I’m frustrated or angry about something at school, especially my senior year.

After I graduate, I plan to: Get my EMT certification so I can help the people that need help the most, whether it be family, friends, or people who are hurt.
